Hike Nova Scotia was formed in 2007 as a registered nonprofit society. It is governed by a Board of Directors with strong regional and special interest representation. We are affiliated with the Nova Scotia Trails Federation and Recreation Nova Scotia.
Hike Nova Scotia’s strategic directions are:
1. Promotion, advocacy and leadership.
2. Public information, awareness and education.
3. Support for the expansion of trail infrastructure.
4. Partnership development and collaboration.
5. Organizational development.
